Hi, I'm Dave Viertels and a Business Development Specialist - Loan Originator with Mid Atlantic Federal Credit Union and have been doing mortgage lending for the past decade. As a local lender servicing the Metro DC community and more specifically Montgomery County, it is our mission to always deliver the highest degree of service by really listening to what our clients and partners want, understanding their needs and then being able to deliver on that by executing.

Our strengths are serving both the first time home buyer who may find the process of buying a home  quite overwhelming as well as the seasoned buyer who needs a bit more customization to their high end financial needs. My obligation is to minimize any worry a buyer may have.  I do this by taking the time to understand what my clients really want and explaining completely what they can expect during this process, thus turning a stressful situation into one which is at least manageable.  

Through communicating effectively with all parties there is nothing which is left to chance.  I attend all closings so that my clients know that I can be counted on to do what I say and to make sure that everything is as they expect, regardless of whether it is a purchase or a refinance transaction.  A common thread is that all things are important to my clients, particularly availability and accessability .
